The Triple Crown is a prestigious accomplishment in professional wrestling, awarded to wrestlers who capture three key championships in a single promotion - typically a world title, a secondary singles title, and a tag team championship.
Multiple wrestling promotions recognize Triple Crown winners, including WWE, AEW (All Elite Wrestling), TNA (Impact Wrestling), ROH (Ring of Honor), as well as past promotions like WCW (World Championship Wrestling) and ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling).
On this page, you'll find the up-to-date full list of Triple Crown winners across all major promotions - along with the championships required for the award, and the dates on which all the Triple Crown champions first won each title, and even future potential champions that are only one title away from completing the Triple Crown.
We also have a dedicated page with the list of Grand Slam Champions (wrestlers that won four specific championships within a promotion) as well as the list of wrestlers that won world titles in multiple promotions.

List of WWE Triple Crown Champions
In WWE (formerly WWWF and WWF), the Triple Crown traditionally refers to a wrestler winning the WWE Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and the original World Tag Team Championship (now retired).
During the first brand split (2002–2011), the World Heavyweight Championship (now retired) and WWE Tag Team Championship (now also renamed to World Tag Team Championship) were accepted as alternate titles for Triple Crown recognition.
Although the United States Championship serves as a counterpart to the Intercontinental title, it has never been considered a valid substitute for the Triple Crown, though it became part of the WWE Grand Slam in 2015.

Unrecognized WWE Triple Crown Champions
With the second brand split in 2016, WWE introduced the Universal Championship (now retired) and SmackDown Tag Team Championship (now the WWE Tag Team Championship). Strangely, these have been confirmed for Grand Slam eligibility, but have not yet been officially recognized as substitutes for the Triple Crown.
Also, in May 2023 WWE launched a new World Heavyweight Championship with a separate lineage from the previous version. Just like the Universal Championship, it has not yet been clarified whether this title qualifies for Triple Crown consideration.
Below we list the wrestlers who technically completed the Triple Crown with the Universal Title or the new World Heavyweight Title, but they haven't been officially recognized as Triple Crown winners.

List of WWE Women's Triple Crown Champions
WWE introduced the Women's Triple Crown in May 2019, defined by winning the WWE Women's Championship (formerly Raw), the Women's World Championship (formerly SmackDown), and the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
A wrestler is recognized as a Women's Grand Slam Champion if they also capture the NXT Women's Championship in addition to the Triple Crown. The new Women's Intercontinental and Women's United States Championships are not part of the awards.

List of TNA Triple Crown Champions
In Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, the original Triple Crown included the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and the NWA World Tag Team Championship, along with the X Division Championship. After losing the rights to the NWA titles in May 2007, TNA replaced them with their own World Heavyweight and Tag Team Championships.
Kurt Angle holds the record for the fastest Triple Crown win, completing it in just 91 days - and is also the only wrestler to hold all three titles simultaneously.
Required Championships:
Note: Jordynne Grace is recognized as the first and only Knockouts Triple Crown winner, having captured the Knockouts World Championship, Knockouts Tag Team Championship, and the now retired intergender Digital Media Championship.

List of NJPW Triple Crown Champions
New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Triple Crown was unique in that it included three singles titles: the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, and the NEVER Openweight Championship - unlike most Triple Crowns, which include a tag title.
However, in March 2021, the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental titles were unified into a new IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, leaving the current status of NJPW’s Triple Crown unclear.
