On this page, you find the full Title History for the WCW World Tag Team Championship, with all Championship Info, Statistics, the Belt Design changes through the years, and the full list of Title Reigns, along with dates, events, and reign durations.
The WCW World Tag Team Championship was contested in World Wrestling Entertainment, World Championship Wrestling, National Wrestling Alliance and Jim Crockett Promotions, by men wrestlers.
The championship was first established on January 29, 1975, and the inaugural champion was Ole Anderson.
The WCW World Tag Team Championship was retired on November 18, 2001, when it was unified into the World Tag Team Championship ('71-'10), with the final champion being Bubba Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley.
A similar championship, the NWA World Tag Team Championship, has been later introduced, which does not share the lineage with this title.
