After being introduced in WWE 2K25, The Island mode returns in WWE 2K26, offering new features and storylines.

For those who don't know, The Island is an online WWE-themed multiplayer map where players can take their custom wrestler to complete challenges and storylines.
In WWE 2K26, The Island players can choose one of three factions and battle for control:
- Order of Anarchy, led by CM Punk
- Order of Shadows, led by Rhea Ripley
- Order of Tradition, led by Cody Rhodes
WWE 2K26 Unlockable Characters in Island Mode
Here you can see all the unlockable characters in WWE 2K26 The Island mode. Once unlocked, they will be available in all the other game modes. To see in which missions each of them is unlocked, check under the mission list.
WWE 2K26 The Island Mission List and Chapters
The story in The Island is driven by Quests, with WWE Superstar quest-givers located throughout the overworld and inside landmarks.
Choose your faction and play through three Chapters, each featuring new cutscenes, Superstar voiceover, original characters, and Order-specific questlines. Chapter 1 launches at release, with Chapters 2 and 3 arriving throughout the year.
Replay each Chapter up to three times, choosing a different Order each run for unique story paths, rewards, and gameplay.

Chapter 1
Regardless of which faction you choose, you'll still be able to play the quests for all three factions in a single playthrough. However, the story will change, along with the cutscenes and dialogue.
As for Quest Rewards, roster characters can be unlocked regardless of your choice, while Banners, Cosmetic Parts, and other rewards will vary depending on your faction. For example:
As for Order Rewards, you will be able to earn Order Reputation for all Orders and unlock their rewards, even if you are not under their affiliation. You can earn Order Rep by playing each Tower inside the Order Landmark Locations. For example:

- Prerequisite: Complete "The Thorn of Anarchy"
Order of Shadows Quests
- The Truth about Dolores

Order of Tradition Quests
- A Referee's Last Count
- Red Hot Angle
- Rewards: Odette Beaumont, Marshall Thompson
- Prerequisite: Complete "A Referee's Last Count"
Chapter 1 Final Quest
- Island Wrestler's Court: You'll need to increase your reputation in all Orders by 1500 points to impress Stephanie McMahon.
- Prerequisite: Complete all the other Orders' quests.
