The Women's World Championship is a World Title contested in World Wrestling Entertainment on the Raw brand, by women wrestlers.
The championship was first established on August 23, 2016, and the inaugural champion was Becky Lynch.
With the Women's Championship heading to Raw in the wake of the Brand Extension Draft, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan introduced the SmackDown Women's Championship for the blue brand with the first champion being crowned at WWE Backlash on Sept. 11, 2016.
On the June 12, 2023 edition of Raw, the title was renamed to the Women's World Championship.
The championship is currently vacant starting from the episode of Raw 2025 (Netflix) on August 18, 2025 (Naomi relinquished the title due to maternity leave.).
