These types of matches all involve more than two wrestlers competing simultaneously in a free-for-all format.

Triple Threat Match

The Triple Threat Match, also known as a Three-Way Match, features three competitors battling each other, with the winner being the first to score a fall on either of the other two participants. The match can only be won by pinfall or submission, as count-outs and disqualifications (DQ) are not applicable in this format.

Fatal 4-Way Match

The Fatal 4-Way Match, also referred to as a Four-Way Match, follows the same rules as the Triple Threat, but with four participants. Victory is achieved by securing the first pinfall or submission over any of the other three competitors. Like the Triple Threat, there are no count-outs or DQ in this match type.

Tag Team Variants

Both Triple Threat and Fatal 4-Way matches can also be adapted into tag team matches, creating a Triple Threat Tag Team Match (with three teams) or a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match (with four teams). These matches can either follow standard Tag Team Match rules, where only one member of each team is legal in the ring while their partners wait in the corner, or the more chaotic Tornado Tag format, where all team members are in the ring at the same time.

5-Pack and 6-Pack Challenges

In some instances, the number of wrestlers in the match increases beyond four. In these cases, the match is referred to as a 5 Pack Challenge (or Fatal 5-Way Match) or a 6 Pack Challenge. As with the Triple Threat and Fatal 4-Way, the winner is the first to score a pinfall or submission on any of the other participants, and there are no count-outs or disqualifications.

Elimination Variants and Corner Variants

All of these multi-person match types can also be contested in Elimination format, where competitors are eliminated one by one until only one remains, and in Corner format, where only two competitors are in the ring at the same time and the others wait at a corner to be tagged-in.

The Corner variants are called respectively Triangle MatchFour Corners Match and Six-Man Mayhem Match based on the number of competitors.
