In a Stretcher Match, one or more stretchers—typically used by ambulances—are placed around the ring, with a white line marked on the entrance ramp, resembling a finish line.
This stipulation does not allow for pinfalls, submissions, count-outs, or disqualifications. Often, the stretcher itself is used as a weapon, along with other implements. The sole objective for victory is to place the opponent on the stretcher and push it beyond the white line on the ramp while the opponent remains on top.
It's important to note that it's not necessary to drag the opponent along the entire ramp; the crucial factor is that they are on the stretcher when it crosses the white line.
Stretcher Matches are exclusively contested as one-on-one encounters, emphasizing the personal rivalry between the participants.
