Survivor Series Match

The Survivor Series Match is a signature elimination tag team match featured in WWE. In this high-stakes contest, two teams face off, with competitors being eliminated one by one until an entire team is wiped out. The remaining competitors on the victorious team are declared the "survivors," though in some instances, only a single individual may survive.

Typically, teams consist of four or five members, but the format has varied over the years. There have been matches with as many as 10 members per team, and even instances of handicap matches where a single competitor takes on an entire opposing team.

This iconic match is traditionally held every year at WWE's annual Survivor Series pay-per-view event, although the 1998, 2002, 2022, and 2023 editions notably did not feature the namesake match.
