Four Corners Match

The Four Corners match is a variant of the Fatal 4-Way match where not all four participants are involved in the ring simultaneously. Instead, two wrestlers compete in the ring at a time, while the other two wait in separate corners. The wrestlers in the ring can tag in the waiting participants either voluntarily or by being tagged in. The match ends with the first pinfall or submission made by one of the two legal wrestlers on the other.

Triangle Match

Another related stipulation is the Triangle match, a variant of the Triple Threat match. In this less common match type, two wrestlers are active in the ring, while the third waits in a corner and must be tagged in to participate. As with the Four Corners match, the match concludes with the first fall achieved by one of the active wrestlers.

Tag Team Variants

Both the Four Corners and Triangle matches can also be adapted for tag teams, resulting in the Four Corners Tag Team match and the Triangle Tag Team match. In these versions, two members from each team are in the ring as the legal wrestlers, while the other team members wait in corners. Tags can be made between any of the legal wrestlers, and the match ends with the first fall among the active participants.

Six-Man Mayhem Match

A similar variant to these match types is the Six-Man Mayhem Match, commonly used in ROH. In this match, two wrestlers are active in the ring while four others wait in corners. There is no requirement for tags, as any of the waiting participants can enter the match when one of the two ring participants exits. The match concludes with the first fall for pinfall or submission from one of the active wrestlers against the other.
