The Feast or Fired match is a very unique variation of the Pole Match. This stipulation is typical of TNA, where four poles (one in each corner) have four briefcases hanging above them.

Three of these briefcases contain a title shot for three different championships, while the fourth contains a pink slip—a termination letter.

A variable number of wrestlers (but always more than four) participate in the match, and when one retrieves a briefcase, they exit the match. The match continues until four different wrestlers have secured the four briefcases, one each.

There is also a female version of this match called the Lock Box Showdown, where the contents of the briefcases differ from the male version. One briefcase contained the Women's Championship, another granted the winner the ability to choose their rival for a match, one required the winner to perform a striptease, and the last one had a wildcard content (in one edition, it contained Poison, Tara's pet tarantula).
