Iron Survivor Challenge

WWE's NXT brand has introduced the Iron Survivor Challenge, featured at its annual December event called Deadline. This match includes both men's and women's competitions, with the following rules:

• The match lasts for 25 minutes and involves five wrestlers.
• It begins with two wrestlers, starting the timer, and every five minutes, an additional competitor enters, with the final participant joining at the 15-minute mark.
• Wrestlers can earn points through pinfalls, submissions, or disqualifications, even before all competitors are in the ring.
• If a wrestler is pinned, submitted, or disqualified, they must spend 90 seconds in a penalty box.
• The match concludes after 25 minutes, and the wrestler with the most points is declared the Iron Survivor. In the case of a tie, the tied wrestlers will compete in sudden death overtime.
• The victors of the men's and women's matches receive a future title shot for the NXT Championship and NXT Women's Championship, respectively.

The Iron Survivor Challenge blends elements from the Championship Scramble, Iron Man match, and TNA's King of the Mountain matches, making its debut at Deadline in 2022.
