The Stadium Stampede match is a unique blend of tag team, location-based, and cinematic wrestling that originated in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). When held indoors, it is referred to as an Anarchy in the Arena match.

Typically, the match involves ten wrestlers in a 5 vs. 5 format, with each team representing an established AEW faction. Known for its violent and brutal nature, the match follows hardcore rules and begins in a ring located in the center of the stadium or arena, progressing through various environments like bars, cargo loading areas, and offices.

The 2020 edition took place in the empty TIAA Bank Field, featuring teams brawling throughout the stadium. In contrast, the 2021 edition started in the empty venue but culminated in front of a live audience at the adjacent Daily's Place outdoor amphitheater, concluding in the Daily's Place ring.

The first indoor match under the Anarchy in the Arena name occurred at Double or Nothing 2022. The third Stadium Stampede match was held at All In inside Wembley Stadium in 2023, and Unlike previous stadium editions, this match was conducted live in front of a crowd, rather than as a cinematic experience.
