The Blindfold Match (also known as the Prince of Darkness Match in WCW) follows the same rules as a Singles Match and can be won by pinfall, submission, count-out, or disqualification (DQ).

Match Details

The unique twist in a Blindfold Match is that both competitors are completely blindfolded or hooded, obscuring their vision entirely. In some cases, only one of the participants might be blindfolded or hooded.

When both wrestlers are blindfolded, the match often involves significant audience participation. It is common for the face (heroic) wrestler to rely on the crowd's reactions to locate their opponent.

Typical Use

This stipulation is primarily used in 1 vs 1 match formats, adding an additional layer of challenge and entertainment by limiting the wrestlers' ability to see.
