On this page, you find the full Title History for the WWF Hardcore Championship, with all Championship Info, Statistics, the Belt Design changes through the years, and the full list of Title Reigns, along with dates, events, and reign durations.
The WWF Hardcore Championship was contested in World Wrestling Entertainment, by men wrestlers.
The championship was first established on November 2, 1998, and the inaugural champion was Mankind.
In 2000 the WWF instated the "24/7 rule" for the title, a regulation stating that the title could be defended anywhere at any time as long as a referee was present.
The WWF Hardcore Championship was retired on August 26, 2002, when it was unified into the WWE Intercontinental Championship, with the final champion being Rob Van Dam.
A similar championship, the WWE 24/7 Championship, has been later introduced, which does not share the lineage with this title.
