Hyper Visual Fighting Arsion was a Women pro wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan.
The ARSION promotion was founded on November 24, 1997 by Aja Kong & Hiroshi "Rossy" Ogawa, and it ceased operations on May 3, 2006.
Hyper Visual Fighting Arsion was founded by Hiroshi “Rossy” Ogawa after management frustrations with the way AJW was run at the time, with four other wrestlers (including Aja Kong) joining him in leaving the promotion. Ogawa and Kong would go on to create a company which mixed various unique ideas together, cooperating with shoot style promotions like BattlARTS, and lucha libre companies like Toryumon. The wrestlers and staff of the company would be assigned numbers (a practice later adapted by Marigold). Arsion in its initial years failed to gain much traction, with various ideas such as a pop idol group failing to stick, coupled with internal booking politics forcing the promotion to close in less than six years. Despite its many difficulties, Arsion would be an early blueprint for the eventual empire Ogawa would build in Stardom. Yumiko Hotta would buy the rights to Arsion in mid-2003, and reform the organization to Major Girl’s Fighting AtoZ, “AtoZ” representing “Arsion to Zenjo [AJW]” — AtoZ would be short-lived, closing in mid-2006 after a short partnership with JD Star.
