All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling was a Women pro wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan.

The AJW promotion was founded on March 2, 1968 by Takashi Matsunaga, Kunimatsu Matsunaga, and it ceased operations on April 19, 2005.

Regarded as one of the greatest women’s wrestling promotions of all time, AJW Is an old-school example of how good women’s wrestling can be if given the chance, and for about 30 years, dominated the scene in Japan, before closing in 2005 to financial difficulties.

The 1994 show Big Egg Wrestling Universe is the best example of how popular women’s wrestling was at the time, hosted at the Tokyo Dome. AJW's motifs and championships are reflected in a variety of women’s promotions today.
