NJPW New Japan Cup

The NJPW New Japan Cup is a men's pro wrestling tournament held periodically by New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The tournament was established on April 19, 2005, and the first edition was won by Hiroshi Tanahashi , while the last edition took place on March 20, 2024 and was won by Yota Tsuji .

Since the 2006 edition, the winner receives a title match, usually for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship (before IWGP Heavyweight Championship).
