Chairs (or Weapon) Match

This is a standard wrestling match, following the rules of a Singles Match, with the allowance (and even encouragement) of using a specific type of weapon mentioned in the match name. There is no disqualification for using this specified weapon.

The match can be won by pinfall or submission; disqualification is enforced for any other rule violations (excluding the use of the specified weapon). The presence of a count-out may vary depending on the specific match.

Chairs Match

In this match, only the use of chairs is permitted.

Singapore Cane Match

This stipulation allows only the use of a Singapore Cane (a kendo stick, or "shinai").

Chain Match

In this match, the use of a steel chain is permitted.

Steel Stairs Match

The use of steel stairs, typically used for ring entry, is recommended in this match.

Baseball Bat Match

In this match, the baseball bat is allowed as the weapon of choice. There is also a more extreme version known as the Barbed-Wire Bat Match, where the baseball bat is covered in barbed wire.
