Westside Xtreme Wrestling is a Indie and Hardcore pro wrestling promotion based in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The WXW promotion was founded on December 24, 2000 by HATE / Peter Wiechers.
wXw quickly established itself as a leading wrestling organization in Germany. Initially holding events in the Ruhr district, particularly Oberhausen, the promotion has expanded its reach since 2013 to include tours across Germany and into Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom.
wXw gained recognition for its innovative approach to wrestling and became notable for its on-demand streaming service, wXwNOW, launched in 2016, making it the first German promotion to offer such a service similar to WWE's network.
