Wrestle-1 was a Indie pro wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan.
The WRESTLE 1 promotion was founded on July 10, 2013 by Keiji Mutoh, and it ceased operations on April 17, 2020.
The promotion was initially populated by wrestlers loyal to Mutoh, who served as its first president under the parent company GEN Sports Entertainment. The inaugural event took place on September 8, 2013, at Tokyo Dome City Hall.
While sharing its name with a series of wrestling events from the early 2000s run by AJPW, K-1, and Pride Fighting Championships, Wrestle-1 was not a direct continuation of that project. Kaz Hayashi succeeded Mutoh as president in March 2017.
