The PWG promotion was founded on July 26, 2003 by Disco Machine, Excalibur, Scott Lost, Joey Ryan, Super Dragon, Top Gun Talwar.

A promotion run operated by wrestler themselves, PWG is home to what many consider comedy wrestling mixed with flippy indie goodness. AEW commentator Excalibur is a major showrunner for the promotion and serves as a bridge between the two companies.
