Fighting Network Rings was a pro wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan.

The RINGS promotion was founded on March 14, 1991 by Akira Maeda, and it ceased operations on December 16, 2012.

A combat sports promotion created by Akira Maeda, Fighting Network Rings would begin in 1991 as a shoot style wrestling promotion, before transitioning in 1995 to an MMA promotion (though still scripted), and an MMA promotion outright in 1999 until its closing in 2002. The letter would also apply to its short-lived revival. RINGS would become a pioneer in Japanese MMA, as the breeding ground for future fighters such as Kiyoshi Tamura and Randy Couture.  The Japanese production of RINGS would cease in 2002, but would continue producing shows internationally until the organization ceased operations in 2012.

The best way to sum up RINGS during the 1990s is “A company as close as possible to MMA, but fundamentally still pro wrestling.”
