What if… both concepts were combined into one ultimate and final relive-based game mode in WWE 2K15?
The “Road To WrestleMania 30” mode would take players through the milestones and career highlights of the top WWE Superstars of today, from their first successes all the way through their journey to the historic 30th anniversary of WrestleMania, reliving key victories and moments of Randy Orton’s career and John Cena’s legacy, The Shield’s path of destruction, Brock Lesnar’s dominance through the years culminating with the end of the legendary Undertaker Streak and, finally, the against-the-odds emotional rise to stardom of Daniel Bryan - for a total of 56 accurately handpicked matches. (I know. You are wondering where CM Punk is. Well, I’m wondering that too…)
Just like seen in the past two years, the mode would feature historical objectives that encourage players to authentically replicate important match moments. Completing these optional objectives would unlock tons of additional playable WWE Superstars and Legends, 20 Alternate Attires, the 24 historic Arenas featured in the mode, 3 Championship Titles and WWE archive photography. Matches would be supplemented by cinematic cut-scenes, video packages, detailed background information and other presentation elements that would guide players through the story, feuds and career progress of each Superstar.
Important note: This would not be the only single-player mode of the game. In the ideal WWE 2K15, players would also have an all-new "My Career" Mode (similar to NBA 2K) at their disposal, where they could create a character or use an existing Superstar/Diva and rise up the ranks from rookie to legend, making a name for themselves in NXT before making their way up to the main roster. This "Road To WrestleMania 30" mode doesn't exclude the desire for the "My Career" Mode, I'm a fan of it as well!
So let’s start and take a look at the matches of each chapter! (they can be played in any order)
