A Move Challenge is a wrestling match that has the objective of performing a specific move first.
The match takes the name of the target move, which is usually a signature move or finisher of one the wrestlers involved, or a generic move that is notoriously hard to perform on both wrestlers.
The best known of these matches is the Bodyslam Challenge, usually involving giant wrestlers.
A variant was the Masterlock Challenge, in which a challenger tried to survive to Chris Masters' Masterlock.
A kind of opposite of the Move Challenge is the Banned Move match, in which one or both of the competitors is not allowed to use their finishing move or else they will be disqualified. This type of match often forces the banned wrestlers to get more creative and use moves they don't normally use in an attempt to win.
