Here you can find our speculations and predictions on the WWE 2K25 Roster with the possible new additions from the legends, debuting NXT superstars, and more!
Possible Main Roster Returns and Debuts
Here are the Superstars who returned to WWE in 2024, or debuted in the main Roster, that will probably be featured in the WWE 2K25 Roster.
The new Bloodline 2.0 will debut in the series with Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, we can definitely expect them to be in the base roster of WWE 2K25.
While the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, who debuted in WWE in October capturing the Tag Team Championships, could headline the WWE 2K25's DLC Season Pass offering.
The WWE 2K25 will also likely include some returns from WWE 2K20, including Andrade, Erick Rowan, and the Authors of Pain.
Possible Legends Returns
Here is the list of possible legends for WWE 2K25, including Legends who appeared in WWE SuperCard or recent WWE Action Figures, or signed a WWE Legends Contract.
Season 11 of WWE SuperCard has just been released adding 5 new Tiers of cards to the game, these new Tiers include Superstars that are not featured in WWE 2K24, and this could be a hint to who we can possibly see in the WWE 2K25 Roster. 2K was granted the rights to include these Superstars in WWE SuperCard, so the same could happen with WWE 2K25.
Here's a list of legends who could be new additions in WWE 2K25 compared to WWE 2K24:
The news of Victoria signing a recent WWE legends contract was met with excitement, particularly because, despite being one of the most iconic female legends in WWE history, she has only appeared in 3 games from the main series, with her last appearance being SVR 2009.
As for Bull Nakano, she has never appeared in a WWE game, but her inclusion in this year's Hall of Fame is encouraging. There's hope she might be added to the game as a surprise, much like The Great Muta was after the 2023 Hall of Fame.
Brian Pillman is another name whose family signed a new WWE legend contract, and he has also returned in WWE SuperCard. We can definitely expect him back in WWE 2K25. This time, he might even appear alongside his son, Lexis King!
Lastly, for the legends, here are additional WWE legends who have recently appeared on WWE TV. However, their current status or contract with the company remains unclear, making it difficult to predict their inclusion in the WWE 2K25 roster. They all have a chance, but we'll see!
Possible New Additions from NXT
Here's the list of Superstars from NXT that have been included in Season 11 and Season 10 of WWE SuperCard and that could join the WWE 2K25 Roster.
Not all of them will end up being in WWE 2K25, but we think they have promising chances for inclusion, some in the base WWE 2K25 roster and some will be added later as DLC.
For all of them, this would mark their debut in the main WWE games series, except for Shawn Spears who appeared as Tye Dillinger in WWE 2K17, 2K18, and 2K19.
Superstars Who Probably Won't Make It To WWE 2K25:
The Superstars listed below were featured in WWE 2K24, but it's unlikely to see them in WWE 2K25 due to being recently released from WWE or decided to leave the company in the past months.
Among these, wrestlers such as Bobby Lashley, MVP, or Ricochet who signed and debuted in AEW surely will be removed and won't make it to the WWE 2K25 roster.
Beth Phoenix is no longer under contract with WWE, and there is growing speculation about a possible AEW move to join her husband, Edge.
Baron Corbin has been a regular in the series since WWE 2K16, but following his recent release, his streak of appearances is likely to be broken with WWE 2K25.
WWE 2K25 is the upcoming installment in the long-running series of professional WWE wrestling video games. Developed by 2K Games, it will feature an extensive roster of wrestlers from current WWE and legends, as well as a wide variety of match types and game modes.
