NWA Hollywood Wrestling was a Territory pro wrestling promotion operating in the United States, based in Los Angeles, California, USA.

The NWA HOLLYWOOD promotion was founded on January 1, 1959 by Cal Eaton & Aileen Eaton LeBell, and it ceased operations on December 26, 1982.

A pillar of Southern California (SoCal) wrestling, the North American Wrestling Association emerged around 1958-59 as a governing body run by the local Eaton-LeBell family of promoters. A direct successor to the older NWA Los Angeles, NAWA would break away from its already loose affiliation to the NWA and become one of the biggest “outlaw” territories of the era. Soon renamed to Worldwide Wrestling Associates, the Olympic Auditorium would be the home base for the new company, and would form partnerships with organizations like the Japanese Wrestling Association.

Aileen Eaton LeBell would pass down the company to her son Mike LeBelle, who would rejoin the NWA soon after in 1968, remaining a member until the promotion’s demise in 1982. NWA Hollywood Wrestling would achieve success in breaking gate records for events, and would be innovators in pioneering closed circuit television for wrestling. It is generally accepted that Mike LeBelle did most of the promoting in its latter years, with his brother Gene LeBell being more of the public face for the promotion.

The early years of NWA Hollywood’s formation are unclear, as a lack of data exists as to specifically when NWA Los Angeles ended and when this promotion began.
