After we updated the WWE 2K23 Roster Page with the full list of Superstars and Women featured as playable characters on-disc, we started analyzing the missing Superstars from the current WWE Roster and the removed Superstars from the last main WWE game, WWE 2K22.
The WWE 2K23 Roster on-disc is solid, it features many debuting superstars like Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Nikkita Lyons, and Solo Sikoa, and some welcomed returns like Bruno Sammartino, Kurt Angle, Lita, and The Bella Twins.
There are 187 characters to be available on day one on disc, but managers, some alternate versions, and the DLC, are still left to be announced.
Every year, not every single WWE wrestler ends up included in the game, depending on several factors such as prominence in programming, time constraints, or other reasons.
In this article, we take a look at all the Superstars and Women that are missing from WWE 2K23, or that have been removed compared to WWE 2K22.
Keep in mind that like last year, WWE 2K23 will have a proper Downloadable Content offering with 5 different DLC Packs. We added a note in the following list of Superstars for those who we think have a good chance to be added as DLC at a later date after the release of the game.
