The WWE 2K19 Roster Reveal is now complete, and we know the full list of Superstars and Women from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, 205 Live, as well as Legends, that will be featured as playable characters on-disc as part of WWE 2K19.
Despite the huge scope of the roster each year, not every single wrestler ends up being included in the game, depending on several factors such as prominence in WWE, time constraints or other reasons.
However, some of the omissions this year seem to be very perplexing. Characters like Brian Kendrick, Nikki Cross, and even current NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa have been oddly left out from the active roster, despite them being playable in last year's WWE 2K18.
There are also several prominent Legends that have been excluded for some reason, such as Mick Foley, Mark Henry and JBL. Let's take a look at the Superstars & Women that are missing from WWE 2K19, with a note for those that we think have a chance to be added as DLC (Downloadable Content) at a later date after the release of the game.

Missing Main Roster Superstars:
- Bobby Lashley - returned in April 2018 Very likely DLC
- James Ellsworth - had a brief return run from June to July 2018, will probably not make DLC
- Mike & Maria Kanellis - haven't appeared in main WWE TV for several months. Hard to tell if they could be DLC.
Missing 205 Live Superstars / Cruiserweights:
- Brian Kendrick - active in WWE, was in WWE 2K18 Perplexing Removal
- Buddy Murphy - returned in February 2018 Very likely DLC
- Lio Rush
- Drake Maverick (GM) - 205 Live GM, hasn't actively wrestled in WWE

The WWE 2K19 Roster features most of the Superstars that appeared in WWE 2K18 (including DLC) however, this year several legends and even active current superstars have been removed from the game for unknown reasons.
