With today's final WWE 2K18 Roster Reveal #4, we now know the full list of on-disc playable Superstars in the game, which features a record total of 174 unique characters not including duplicates/alternate versions and managers.
The WWE 2K18 Roster is already the largest in history of WWE Games, and it's expected to grow even more with several DLC Superstars (update: WWE 2K18 DLC have now been announced!) that will be added after the release of the game.
But how many wrestlers didn't make the cut, at least for the launch-day Roster? Let's take a look at the Superstars & Women that are missing from WWE 2K18 on disc, with a note for those that are the most likely to be included as Downloadable Content at a later date.
Main Roster Superstars not included:
- The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) - returned at WrestleMania, very likely to be DLC
- Elias Samson - in NXT for a long time, now on Raw, very likely to be DLC
- Lana - she's in the game but only included as Manager
- James Ellsworth
- Singh Brothers
- Mike & Maria Kanellis - debuted late (July 2017), will probably not make DLC
- Shelton Benjamin - returned late (August 2017), will probably not make DLC

Missing Superstars from WWE 2K17
The WWE 2K18 Roster features almost every Superstar that appeared in WWE 2K17 (including DLC), with the exception of a few names, that either left WWE, or were excluded from the game for other reasons. Here are the characters that were removed from the game compared to last year's Roster.
