The WWE 2K developers revealed through Twitter and Youtube that WWE 2K17 will still feature several alternate versions and attires for the wrestlers included in the WWE 2K17 roster, in addition to the 136 unique characters that have been announced in the Roster Reveal.
Here are the alternate characters confirmed so far by WWE2Kdev:
- Scott Hall
- Kevin Nash
- Shawn Michaels Alt. Attires
- Triple H Alt. Attires (Hunter Hearst Helmsley?)
- Stone Cold Alt. Attires (Stunning Steve Austin?)
- The Rock Alt. Attires
- The Undertaker Alt. Attires
- Kane Alt. Attires

The full WWE 2K17 Roster at launch includes 136 unique playable characters, making it the biggest in WWE games franchise history, and many more wrestlers are expected to be added in the future as DLC. Two different versions of Goldberg are available as a pre order bonus while Nia Jax, Apollo Crews and Shinsuke Nakamura are available to those who buy the NXT Edition of WWE 2K17.
In the next few weeks, the WWE 2K Devs will be bringing us more videos and behind the scenes looks on some of the new WWE 2K17 features, including WWE Universe, Ladder Matches, Fighting in the Crowd, Backstage Brawls, etc.
WWE 2K17 is scheduled to release on 11th October on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. While a PC version of the game hasn’t officially been announced, it will probably be released sometime next year like the previous games that eventually made it to PC.
