There have been Hands on Previews with MyCareer of WWE 2K15, here’s what we learned:
- The build had a pre made CAW.
- First scenario, he was getting shouted at by Bill Demott to do specific things.
- After a few games in NXT, he quit that build and moved onto a 'future' build where the stats and attributes were higher. Vickie Guerrero told him he should be able to beat Daniel Bryan's 6 month Streak, and then after the match, he had an opportunity to lowblow Bryan, or shake his hand.
- After that he went to another scenario and he was got F5'd by Lesnar after the match up with Fandango or something.
- There isn't a huge amount of CAW stuff (until you unlock) but the quality of it is better.
- You use VC to buy attributes, skills, attires or hair styles.
- You can buy 'training' where you will receive the finisher and signature of the person training you to add to your moveset.
- You can buy managers to use in my career. Examples of which include Heyman (who apparently is a lot of VC), The Bellas and Tamina.
- The skills you can buy include stuff like OMG moves (suplex, dropkick, DDT etc.), hammer throws, ring escapes, leverage pins. Pretty much whatever was in last year as an ability or OMG moment.
- You can buy things like 'Ruthless Aggression', 'Technician', 'Pin Combo', 'Teamwork'. I assume if you have 'Pin Combo' equipped for example, the chances of your opponent kicking out are lowered. All of this have different levels, so you can keep upgrading.
- Popularity is governed by Rating of the match. The match rating is similar to streak mode. The more back and forth a match, the higher the rating, regardless of whether you win or lose.
- In career, there are contract signings (where you can choose to put opponent through the table)
- Have the choice in matches. For example he suggests that 'I could take on Chris Jericho in a dark match that would have no TV exposure but higher VC if I won, or take on Lesnar on Smackdown for less VC and more TV Exposure.'
