Matches gameplay:
- Moves on the announcer table are back;
- Now there's OMG moves. An ‘OMG!!’ logo will appear above a character’s head when they are capable of executing these devastating maneuvers, which can quickly change the tide of a match - or even end it.These actions, which range from literally breaking the ring with super heavyweights to bulldozing a rival through the ring barrier to catching a finisher in mid-air, can only be enabled by certain wrestlers in specific locations and instances. It's confirmed that Punk, Mark Henry and Undertaker have their own OMG finisher;
- You can choose the number of finishing moves available at the start of a match (which it can range from 0 to Infinite);
- You can adjust a setting called ‘Match Experience’ with Three settings (“Quick”, “Normal” and “Epic”) which will affect the overall pacing of a fight, independent of AI difficulty. Factors such as momentum, damage, enemy aggressiveness and even kick out and reversal rates will be affected;
- An awesome audio experience (In the article is mentioned that the audio isn't still ready and that's awesome news. That means they are really doing something);
- Better weight detection;
- Pinning is now not only influenced by damage, but the power of the move that was previously executed;
- Non-tagged partners can now be controlled;
- Replays are being adjusted to be more relevant;
- There will be new match types.
Attitude Era mode:
- Takes the place of Road To Wrestlemania. It allows you to journey through various storylines as eight of the most popular superstars of that time. The 1st confirmed is “Stone Cold” Steve Austin;
- Each match is broken down into a series of main or side objectives, which are clearly labeled when on-screen, can be easily accessed, and will disappear from a list when they are completed;
- A wealth of bonus material can be unlocked by completing all side tasks;
- There are a few ‘hidden’ objectives, opening up further rewards included in the mode;
- Backstage sequences have mostly been removed, with the exception of a few matches that take place outside the ring;
