After Marcus Stephenson's departure from a couple of weeks ago, Aaron Kaufman aka THQ_Tank just announced through Social Networks that he left his position as Senior WWE Games (and UFC) Community Manager at THQ.
Aaron states it's hard for him to "step away from his gaming family after being a Community Manager in this industry since 2004", (Tank worked at EA Sports, before moving to THQ in 2010), however "an offer that he could not pass up to, on a personal and career level, was presented to him".
"My decision to step down bears no weight on anything related to the WWE Games or UFC Undisputed community or THQ (in fact our fighting development teams are doing some absolute incredible things)"
While Tank states that THQ is doing fine, there has to be some concerns around the company situation, considering that the two Community Managers both left one after the other in a span of 2 weeks.
Aaron assures that there are guys ready to step in his former position, but with the departure of both him and Stephenson, we at TheSmackDownHotel.com can definitely say that those are going to be very big shoes to fill.
Thanking Tank (which now changed his twitter handle to @Just_Tank), we wish him the best in his future endeavors.
