Glu Mobile and WWE launched today a new WWE Mobile game for Android and iOS devices called WWE Universe. Glu Mobile announced a multi-year agreement with WWE promising to offer the most authentic WWE experience on mobile to date, allowing players to build and train dream rosters before challenging others.
The app is now free to download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, but it includes in-app purchases which you can disable by adjusting your device settings.
In WWE Universe, players will guide a team of Superstars and Legends into battles fueled by ongoing storylines and live-action multiplayer modes. Players can take charge with simple, one-touch tap controls that trigger a Superstar’s signature moves in a match featuring authentic maneuvers, chants, music and more.
Those who guide their Superstar teams to victory in daily, weekly or special events will see their efforts reflected in exclusive in-game rewards and on the WWE Universe leaderboard tracking the achievements.
