After being asked on Twitter about it, WWE Games employees Cory Ledesma and Aubrey Sitterson have confirmed that the WWE All Stars servers have now officialy been shut down: therefore online play is no longer being supported either on PlayStation Network or Xbox Live.
This comes as a sad news for owners of the game, as it has just been 2 years since the game was released (while servers for older games such as SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 are still up and running) and a sequel doesn't seem to be in the plans, at least not for anytime soon.
WWE All Stars featured an all-new take on WWE with fast, fun, fluid and furious arcade-style gameplay, and larger-than-life WWE Superstars and Legends. Unfortunately, gamers will not be able to take their experience online anymore from now on.
