"THQ reportedly has a new WWE video game in the works that will feature current WWE wrestlers vs. WWE Legends. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross said he is expected to handle commentary with Jerry Lawler for the new game.
"It looks like WWE has lined up a really cool, THQ video game for me to work on and that I will likely be broadcasting along side the King in the game where Legends compete with active Superstars. I'm not sure of the release date or the creative details, etc but the concept, as explained to me, was really cool. I hope to begin my voice overs in the next week or two. We're burning daylight on this one and need to get rocking. I'm ready!" Ross said in a blog on jrsbarbq.com.
As part of WWE and THQ's renewed partnership, THQ will be launching new WWE video game titles to complement the yearly Smackdown vs. Raw franchise.
THQ is expected to announce details on a new video game at the E3 Convention in Los Angeles later this month. They will also be unveiling the first details on the new Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 video game." pwtorch.com
