A new Title Update for AEW Fight Forever, Patch 1.01, will be released soon on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam PC.
The patch dated July 5, 2023, includes concerns reported by the community, stability fixes, and general polishing for AEW Fight Forever.

For the time being, the following changes are live on PC and PlayStation systems. Xbox and Nintendo Switch will follow soon.
General - all Platforms:
- Fixed an issue where the title freezes after pressing the "Options" button during a gameplay replay.
- Fixed an issue where the title crashes when opening the Leaderboards for the second time.
- Fixed an issue when beginning an online match with a Custom Arena selected by the host, the game goes to a black screen.
- Fixed an issue where the title crashes when opening the Leaderboards for the second time.
- Fixed an issue where during a ladder brainbuster, both Wrestlers may suddenly fall to the floor and may get stuck in the mat. In such a case, the match didn´t continue.
- Malakai Black's finisher name changed from "BLACK MASS" to "THE END".
PS4 / PS5:
- Fixed an issue where backwards compatible save data from a PlayStation 4 was not detected by a PlayStation 5.
- Fixed an issue where the title crashes when attempting to start an "Exhibition" match on PlayStation 4.
- Fixed an issue where the title crashes when opening the Leaderboards for the second time on PlayStation 5.
PC:
- Fixed an issue where when setting a PC using an ”IntelARC” graphics chip to 4K resolution, the match-up screen background displays corrupted.
