Offering four classes of competitor – Acrobat, Big Man, Brawler and Grappler - WWE All Stars will provide players with WWE Legends and WWE Superstars who have distinct advantages and techniques to which other classes do not have access, including specific combinations and unique abilities.
The Acrobat: Acrobats are our lightning-fast high-fliers. They can spring off the ropes to perform attacks and even run or jump up turnbuckles in a flash. Acrobats move faster than the other three classes, and their aerial moves connect with pinpoint accuracy. Want to do a backflip off of an opponent’s chest onto a turnbuckle to set up a surprise aerial attack or dive? Done! All of this speedy high-flying comes at a price, though. Acrobats are not as durable as the other three classes, so keep an eye on the health meter. WWE Superstars Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston and John Morrison, along with WWE Legends “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, are examples of Acrobats in WWE All Stars.
The Big Man: The Big Man towers over his opponents with his massive strength and stature. Big Men can send their opponents flying out of the ring or bouncing off the ropes with their devastating strength. They can also charge up powerful strikes and save them for later or unleash them to set up high-impact juggling opportunities. In addition, the Big Man can also stomp the ground, sending a downed opponent flying helplessly into the air for a follow-up attack. Another key advantage for Big Men is their durability; they are difficult to knock off their feet. However, they are not completely unstoppable, as their considerable mass comes at a price: Big Men are the slowest character class. WWE Legend Andre the Giant and WWE Superstar Big Show are examples of Big Men in WWE All Stars.
The Grappler: Grapplers are all about being great in-ring technicians and masters of submissions. They have the ability to chain together grapple attacks, one after another, which leads to overwhelming combos. They can also suddenly end a match by being able to pin their opponents from a variety of positions. While Grapplers may be able to pin even the most daunting of opponents, their increased skill comes at the cost of their striking abilities. WWE Legend and Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart and WWE Superstar Triple H are examples of Grapplers in WWE All Stars.
The Brawler: Brawlers are masters of striking and stringing together powerful combos. These are the guys who will stomp a mudhole in their opponents and walk it dry. A great example of their strength is their unblockable charged strikes that can lead to grapples and juggling opportunities. They also have a variety of combo attacks from both striking and grappling positions. With an increased range on their strikes, the Grappler is the most balanced class to play in WWE All Stars. The damage they inflict with their grapple attacks, however, is relatively weaker than their strikes. WWE Legends Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior, as well as WWE Superstars John Cena, Randy Orton and Sheamus, are examples of Brawlers in WWE All Stars.
